Do I need to pay a remittance fee for a bank transfer?
For most top-up methods, you will be required to pay a remittance fee when transferring funds for a top-up. Please ensure that you pay this fee at the same time as the top-up.
If for example you wish to top by ¥5,000 and the bank ATM charges a ¥330 remittance fee, you would be required to pay ¥5,330 in total. However, the majority of ATM’s will apply this fee automatically to the transfer amount.
