If you already have a Japanese Bank Account, you may have access to online banking, meaning you can top up your MobalPay account wherever you are!
You must have a Japanese bank account to top up your MobalPay balance online – you can’t use an overseas account. If you don’t have a Japanese Bank Account, you can still top up your MobalPay account using cash.
Alternatively, you can open a bank account at Japan Post Bank (the only bank that doesn’t have a minimum residency requirement) and use their mobile app.
