Are there any merchants that will not accept my MobalPay card?
MobalPay works in many places, including Netflix, Spotify, Amazon Prime, iPhone App Store etc.
There are some places where it doesn’t work though…
Where MobalPay might not work
- Petrol / gas stations (including in the attached store)
- Motorway tolls
- Prepaid or digital money top-ups
- Recurring payments
Where MobalPay does not work
- Anywhere that uses the old-style 3DS service (version 1 – where a one-time password is required). For more info, see our 3DS Guide
Where MobalPay can be used via PayPal
Some merchants won’t accept MobalPay as a payment method, but will accept PayPal. You can use MobalPay to pay for these services by linking your MobalPay card to PayPal.
