LED Lights:

Located at the top left corner of your Wi-Fi device, you will see that there are several LED indicator lights.

These include the ‘Strength Indicator’ LED (which is is 4 dots in a line) and then three separate icons below it (which include the ‘Signal Indicator’, the ‘Battery Indicator’ and the ‘Wi-Fi Indicator’) as shown in the diagram below:

If you place your device on charge, you will notice that the ‘Battery Indicator LED’ light will begin to flash and it will return to a constant light once the charging cable is removed.

If you need to check the current battery level, you can do so by pressing the ‘Power’ button (located on the top edge of the device) once.

In the first three seconds after pressing the ‘Power’ button, the ‘Strength Indicator LED’ section (the four lights in a line) will light up to display the current battery level.

After the battery level has been shown, the ‘Strength Indicator LED’ section will then display the current signal strength.

Charging Instructions:

You will find that the USB charging port is located on the right hand side of the unit and you will be required to use a Type-C USB (USB-C) cable in order to charge your Wi-Fi device.

You can then connect the other end of the cable (with the standard USB connector) to a standard USB port on another device (such as a PC / Laptop) or you can connect it to a USB plug adapter to charge it via the wall outlet.

Charging Tips

As this is portable Wi-Fi device rather than a static Wi-Fi router (which means that it is not intended for continuous charging), we would recommend that you avoid leaving the device on charge at all times to prevent deterioration of the battery.

Therefore, it would be best to just charge the device until it is fully charged and you can then disconnect the cable and use the device until the battery level is low. When required, you can then place the unit back on charge until it is fully charged and then continue to repeat this process while the device is in use.

If for any reason you do need to leave the device connected for an extended period of time, please ensure that the device is left on charge for no longer than 60 hours at a time.

When the device is not needed (such as when internet access is not required or overnight etc), we would also recommend that you leave the device switched off with the charging cable removed until you need to use it again.
