First, please restart your smartphone and make sure any unnecessary mobile applications are closed on your smartphone (Android/iPhone).
If you are still having trouble, please check the following:
Clear Browser Cache and Data
Sometimes, stored data can interfere with opening websites.
- Safari:
- Go to Settings > Safari.
- Scroll down and tap on Clear History and Website Data.
- Confirm the action.
- Chrome or Other Browsers: If you are using a browser like Chrome:
- Open the browser app.
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing Data.
- Select the data types to clear (e.g., cache, cookies, etc.) and confirm.
Try Another Browser
If you’re using Safari, try opening the website in a different browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) to see if the issue is related to Safari.
Disable VPN or Proxy
If you are using a VPN or a proxy server, they may be blocking access to certain websites.
- Go to Settings > VPN and disable it if it is on.
- If you’re using a proxy, disable it by going to Settings > Wi-Fi > [Your Network] > Configure Proxy and set it to Off.
Restart Your iPhone/Android
Restarting your device can resolve minor software glitches.
- Press and hold the power button (and volume button on newer models) until the “slide to power off” slider appears.
- Slide to turn off the phone and then turn it back on after a few seconds.
Check for iOS/Android and App Updates
Make sure your iPhone’s software is up to date, as outdated software may cause issues with browsing.
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update and install any available updates.
Check for Network Restrictions (iPhone)
- Content & Privacy Restrictions: If there are parental controls or restrictions enabled, they might block access to certain websites.
- Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions and check if there are any restrictions on websites.
