If there is any unused balance remaining on your card after the MobalPay service ends, you may still be able to use the balance through the following methods.
Where possible, we recommend using your remaining balance before the service end date (April 27, 2026).
Below is an example of a way you may be able to use your remaining balance.
1. Add Funds to Your Amazon Account
You may be able to add funds to your Amazon account using the Amazon Gift Card Reload feature with your MobalPay card.
Steps
1. Go to the Amazon Gift Card Reload page
2. Enter the amount you would like to add (minimum 150 JPY)
3. Select MobalPay card as the payment method
4. Complete the purchase
The added funds can then be used for purchases on Amazon.

* Amazon Gift Card Reload is available for amounts of 150 JPY or more.
2. Requesting a Refund
If there is any unused balance remaining after the service ends, you may request a refund through your My Account page.
Detailed instructions on how to request a refund will be sent by email after the service has ended.
3. If No Refund Request Is Submitted
If no refund request is submitted and the refund application period expires, the card will be automatically treated as cancelled.
Any remaining unused balance will then be donated to our company charity initiative. You can find more information here.
