Why can’t I add / save the APN profile?
If your device is displaying an “Access Point Name settings are not available for this user” error message that’s preventing you from saving the profile, please try following the steps below –
1) In the “Access Point Names” section, please tap on the ‘Options’ button and select: “Reset to default”
This button will usually appear as three dots in a vertical line as shown in the image below –
2) Once you have selected the “Reset to default” option, please try creating a new APN profile again by using the settings shown below:
Name: Mobal
APN: ppsim.jp
Username: pp@sim
Password: jpn
MCC: 440
MNC: 03
Authentication Type: PAP or CHAP
After entering the settings above, you can then save the profile and retest the data connection.
If any issues persists, please reboot your device to refresh the connection and then retest again.
