Unexpected Charges:

If you have updated your payment method through your Mobal online account (MyAccount), our system will perform automatic security checks on the information provided.

These checks will include an authorization against your payment method for a small amount (usually ¥100).

You can rest assured that this is only an authorization and we will not actually take the money from your account. The authorization will be removed from your statement within a few business days.

Please also note that newly updated billing information can take up to 2 business days (Monday to Friday) to appear on your Mobal online account.

Charges that you incur from Mobal will usually display the reference “Mobal.com”.

If you have purchased a data-only eSIM however, please be advised that you are not required to update your billing information. This is a pre-paid service and so (once you have paid for the initial purchase of the eSIM) no additional charges can be incurred.
