If you are making monthly payments for your Japan Unlimited SIM card and you have already paid for one full month of service, you now have the option to switch to our ‘Cash Payment’ system.

This would allow you to pay your bill in cash at the following locations:

If you would like to switch to our ‘Cash Payment’ option, you would firstly be required to login to your Mobal online account (MyAccount).

 

Once you have logged in to your online account, please click on the “Services” tab located at the top of your account as shown below.

 
On the next screen, please click on the “More Information” button shown to the right of the listing for your ‘Japan Unlimited’ SIM card.
 

You can then scroll down to the section titled “Billing Details” and click on the “Cash Payment Information & Application” button as shown below.

On the next screen, you will be required to review the terms of service for our ‘Cash Payment’ option.

If you agree to the terms of service for this payment option, please click on the tick / check box (as shown above in Step 4) and then click on the “I’d like to pay by cash” button to submit your request.

Once your application has been accepted, a cash payment request (similar to what is shown below) will be sent to you via email on approximately the 1st of every month.

If you do not receive this email, please check your Spam / Junk folders as this email will contain the information required to pay your bill by cash.

 

To make a payment, you would then simply visit any Lawson, Mini-Stop or Family Mart convenience store in Japan and use the information contained in this email.

You will have up to 10 days to make your payment and the deadline will be provided in the confirmation email.

Please note that if your online account will not allow you to switch to our cash payment option, this would indicate that you have not yet paid for a full calendar month of service.

If you would like to disable the ‘Cash Payment’ option and switch back to a standard payment method (such as a Debit / Credit Card or PayPal account), you would firstly be required to login to your Mobal online account.

 

Once you have logged in to your online account, please click on the “Services” tab located at the top of your account as shown below.

 
On the next screen, please click on the “More Information” button shown to the right of the listing for your ‘Japan Unlimited’ SIM card.
 

You can then scroll down to the section titled “Billing Details” and click on the “Remove Cash Payment” button as shown below.

A new window will then appear where you will be required to confirm the change. After clicking on the “Confirm” button, you will then be taken to the next screen where you will be asked to re-confirm your preferred payment method for future charges.
