The voicemail service is enabled by default so you do not need to request for it be activated. If you would like to disable voicemail you will need to contact us to request for this to be processed.
To access your voicemail simply dial 123 from your SIM and follow the voice prompts.
When first accessing your voicemail account, you may need to enter the default voicemail password (this will be the last four digits of your phone number). After entering this you will be prompted to create a new 4 to 7 digit code password that you can use to access your voicemail in the future. If prompted, record your greeting and name and then setup is complete!
If you hear a “Please leave your message for….” announcement after dialing 123, interrupt the greeting by pressing “*” (the star key). This will take you through to your actual voicemail account.
Notification of a New Voicemail Message
When someone leaves you a voicemail message, you will receive a text message notification – To retrieve your voicemail message, simply follow the steps above for accessing voicemail.
Forgotten Your Voicemail Password?
If you have setup a new password and forgotten the code, dial #793# (SEND) from your SIM. This will reset your password to the last 4 digits of your phone number. You will be prompted to change this when you next access your voicemail account.
Charges for Voicemail
There is no initial charge when a voicemail message is deposited to your number, however, accessing voicemail (to listen or delete the message, etc) is chargeable as an outgoing call to the US.
